012In regards to promoting national interests, strengthening regional security by all means is critical to Kazakhstan’s continued prosperity. The government needs to diversify its foreign policy and develop economic and trade diplomacy to protect and promote national economic and trade interests and Kazakhstan’s human rights.

The best way to stabilize the region is through interregional integration. In doing this Kazakhstan can decrease the conflict potential of its region, resolve vital social and economic problems and address water, energy and other contradictory issues. As an influential Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) participant Kazakhstan is genuinely interested in a peaceful solution to the Middle East
conflict and war in Afghanistan. By Intensifying international cooperation in cultural, humanitarian, scientific and education Kazakhstan can be a leader in expanding peace.
